Sayadaw U Tejaniya is a Buddhist monk and meditation teacher from Burma, who teaches busy modern lay people how to meditate in the same way monks and nuns have practiced for thousands of years— from the moment of waking up until the moment of falling asleep. "Forget the idea that meditation happens only on a cushion or in the meditation hall," Sayadaw says. "Meditation is so important we need to do it all the time."
